RICA residential students are involved in afterschool programing including tutoring, pet therapy, and therapy groups.   Summer enrichment programing is tailored to fit the needs and developmental levels of the students including swimming and bicycling, cooking, knitting, sports, arts and crafts, yoga, fitness, and field trips to various sites in the DC metropolitan area.  

The JLG-RICA Association is a significant supporter of afterschool programing and summer enrichment.  The Association supports a knitting project, arts and crafts, the garden club and various field trips during the summer and throughout the school year.
